This is another incredibly powerful poem of love and loss. I can feel the dark intensity of those closing lines as the move from nearness and ecstasy to the stark opposite. Chillingly memorable, Rena!

"And I feel you near

A sharp intake, a long low moan

Details of this damnable day

At this moment are gone."

I can feel all the tension in the air. When I was reading your poem, the image came to me of someone waiting at a train station for the arrival of the lover they haven't been with for some time. It's very beautiful

Incredibly sensual and ultimately calming. I put away all other reading and end on this lovely note. 🎵

Waves stroke silk sails

Sheer sheets of love still the best feeling in short caresses long days shoulder holds hours long nights.

Greek delta door still open let in time. It too will keep with door open.
